2019 U.S Large Luxury Car Sales Analysis

Report Updated: With June 2019 Data on July 2nd 2019

The large luxury car segment didn’t have a great time in the month of June and it’s struggled so far this year. The segment only had four models for the month that managed to see sales increases. When you look YTD, the segment only had three models that managed to see increases in sales.

When you look at just the month, the segment was down about 2,000 units. The model that saw the greatest increase in sales was definitely the Audi A8. It saw an increase in sales of 225 percent.

On the YTD side of things, the segment was down about 13,000 units. That’s a huge drop from last year. Again the Audi A8 is the car that has had the best year. Its sales have been up by about 131 percent.

We expect the segment to continue to trend down as the year moves forward.

Below you will find sales figures for all large luxury cars sold in the United States broken down by month and by quarter.
