Our Take On The Top 20 Best Selling SUV Sales Numbers
Nissan Rogue sales surged 18.1% in May, granting it the top spot in the top 20 SUVs for the month.
Its sales increase, while significant for the nameplate, was unremarkable compared with some other players. Its 38.413 sales last month put it just over 200 sales ahead of the Toyota RAV4, while there were much steeper trajectories charted by the Jeep Wrangler, Cherokee and Compass.
A trio of Subarus sit just outside the top-10; the Outback, Forester and Crosstrek all had a strong May, with the Crosstrek’s improvement the most stark compared with the same month in 2017.
