None of the passenger cars to have reported sales figures for April that made the top ten grew their sales on the same month last year, and only three still have a green column in their year-to-date sales growth.

The Toyota Camry, Nissan Sentra and Dodge Challenger cling to growth even after sales dropped 5%, 16.1% and 10.6% year-on-year for the month respectively for those nameplates.

The Honda Accord also continued to struggle, with the Japanese automaker holding back on incentive spending for fears that it will impact resale values.
